We've been pretty busy around here enjoying the Summer and finding time to write has been few and far between. The girls are growing up fast and if feels like I blinked and Miss C is heading into Pre-School and Miss R is starting to talk beyond MaMa and DaDa.
They are sisters to the core and one minute they will be rolling around making each other laugh and the next R will have a handfull of C's hair pulling it by the roots. It's a wild ride around here for sure. The two of them can wind each other up, but...one of my favorite things is when the girls hold hands. When the softer, gentler side of sisterhood shows up and I see C taking care of her Sissy. There is a bond there between my girls and I try to remind C that she has to take care of her sister.
Miss R is feeling out her vocabulary and is starting to communicate more and more every day. She knows who we all are and will point to us if asked. Duck is one of her most favorite words Her appetite is through the roof and we can hardly keep food in her. She's still pretty attached to her paci and will make any blanket her blankey. I love the way she pulls out a book and will sit and "read" the book outloud. She loves that almost more than anything else.
Miss C, well, that girl is hilarious. You can tell she is our child by her silliness. Today she was dancing to every song that came on the radio and singing her own version of Lady Gaga. She's learned that if she says, "hope you find your dad" from the movie Elf it makes people laugh so she says it over and over again.
