Kids say the funniest things

We knew from birth that Miss C was going to have a unique and fiery personality. It seems only fitting that now that she can talk she comes off with the most hilarious of things.

There are times when we know that something she says is a direct result of something we've said. Like when she says, "let's rock n roll" when we are leaving because that is what her Daddy says. Or when she says, "silly girl" because that is what her Mommy says.

There are other times when we're caught off guard by something she says. This week, it's happened twice. The first came when we were talking about Mommy's belly. Before I had Miss R we talked a lot about her being in Mommy's belly. This week we talked about her being out and then Miss C said, "put her back Mommy, put her back". Not sure how to respond to that one.

The other happened on our way home from the Farmers Market. As we walked down the street Miss C kept saying she wanted to go back to Old McDonald's and we had no freaking clue what she was talking about. Then she said, "go back to Old McDonald's Farm" because she equated the Farmers Market with Old McDonald.

I am sure no one else on the planet thinks this is as funny as we do...but she is hilarious.
