Changes

This week was Miss R's 1 month check up. Time continues to fly by. She did great. Has managed to gain over a pound in 2 weeks. Is in perfect proportion for her height and weight. All is well. Thankfully we didn't have to get any shots this time but only because they were out. We have to go next week for her Hep B shot.

We found out she has birthmarks on both her eyelids. We didn't think she had any birthmarks and actually thought the red marks were from her delivery. Turns out we were wrong.

The only area of concern at this point is the fact that her face, head and neck are breaking out. The doctor didn't seem concerned but they weren't concerned when C was covered the same way. With C we had to make the decision to switch her formula and it ended up being the right decision.

This time around, as we have learned with other things. R is not like C. We've tried switching her to the hypo-allergenic formula we ended up putting C on but it DOES NOT appear to agree with her. We've tried too different times to give it to her and both times she projectile spits up almost immediately after we give it to her.

I am really not sure what to do at this point and am struggling trying to decide whether to just stick with the formula she is on or to try soy. If she wasn't still spitting up so much and all gassy all the time, I might not be as concerned. But her face has been like this for more than a week and seems to be getting worse, not better. I'll figure it out, I always do.
