Thank You Miss Amy

We really were blessed to have stumbled upon Amy being available, and willing, to watch Miss C these last few months. It was nice to see Miss C's face light up when Amy got here in the mornings and to come home to see all the new things that they had worked on during the day. I think Miss C really benefitted from being in Amy's care and we will be forever grateful for her time and involvement in Miss C's early development.
Amy truly loves Miss C and it was evident whenever they were together that the feeling was mutual. The transition to day care is not one we were ready to make, Amy included, but circumstances forced us to make this move and I am trying to remind myself that everything happens for a reason.
Still, we want Amy to continue to be a part of Miss C's life and are planning to have her come over one night a week or so they can stay connected (And we get a date night.). Yet it will not be the same and we all know that.
In the end Miss C will be fine...her transition visit to the day care showed us what we already knew which is she is a very adaptable and social baby and that the day care is a good place. We adults, however, might struggle a little.
Thank you so much Amy for all the love and care you gave to Miss C. We will never forget this time or your impact on her life.
