Today we bought this for Miss C. We got an amazingly sweet deal because it was the floor model at the home and garden show. Hopefully it will be delivered in time for the family birthday parties on Saturday.
Right now Miss C is a little frightened of the swings. They told me she freaked out at daycare when they put in her in the swing and that she didn't like being outside. This totally surprised me because she LOVES being outside and has been on a swing before. What likely happened was they put her in the swing and started swinging without letting her get comfortable with it first. While she's an easy-going kid she definitely does better when she can explore rather than being thrust into things. So, today I worked on re-introducing her to swinging while we shopped for her new swing set.
The place where we bought the swing set was pretty cool. They have a lot of their products set up and actually host birthday parties and have this deal where you can get play packages and bring your kids to play there inside. We got a free birthday party with our purchase. Woohoo.
