This weekend Dawn, Mia and Mom will be coming up to visit. Weather permitting, because it's totally supposed to rain, we will be taking Mia and Miss C to their first breast cancer event as participants in the local Komen Walk.
I feel completely and utterly blessed that my Mom is a survivor and that Miss C has the opportunity to love her as much as I do. That is a true gift. It is important to me that Miss C be involved in helping to rid this world of such a devastating disease starting now so that she has awareness and a sense of giving back to the world around her as she grows up.

Amen to all you said! We will be walking in our local community's breast cancer walk on Oct 4th! We're ready to make a difference as well! Go Pink Ladies with your pink ribbons and new babies! :)
